The invitation to participate in the largest decoration fair in the Americas was a success, definitively consolidating her career.

“Design Addicted Studio” at Casa Cor

Flávia Sá, with her clean, youthful and sophisticated style, signs an environment at this year's Casa Cor, the largest architecture and decoration exhibition in the Americas, which takes place from 27 May to 20 July at the Jockey Club in São Paulo. The architect explores contemporaneity, design and dynamism to bring to life the “Designer's Studio”, full of exclusivity and style. One of the highlights of the space is the architect's tribute to fashion designer Reinaldo Lourenço, displaying pieces and showing his latest fashion show. The renowned Brazilian fashion designer is one of the big names on the national fashion circuit, with sophisticated clothing creations for contemporary women who are tuned in to fashion.

DESIGN

A 40m² studio that exudes personality and symmetry, characteristics of the professional. Flávia Sá was inspired by an independent, modern woman who is passionate about design. The result was a cosy environment for life in the metropolis, for someone who works hard and has a property in another location to rest on weekends.

CONCEPT

DESCRIPTION

The architect designed a space with a functional and elegant layout that conveys cosiness and personality. The cosy living room features linen upholstery and cushions, natural wood curtain rods and blinds, designed by the architect and crafted by her own carpenter, and bronze-toned wallpaper that highlights the latest trends in the industry. The gold screen-printed glass coffee table displays objects as well as photos, sculptures and arrangements from Casa Flor. In the bedroom, the bed with a Lezard leather headboard is complemented by Italian sheets from Marlene Enxovais. In the bathroom, the brown fixtures and the closet with bronze mirrored glass doors from Celmar Grupo Premium bring a touch of modernity. The Victorian chair and bathtub add delicacy and romanticism to the space. On the wall, black pebble cladding and a composition of pictures with plants from Wall Plants complete the space. Bottheh rugs, one reloaded and the other silk, divide the rooms into sections.

TRENDS

Sober tones, shades of grey, black and even orange served as inspiration for Flávia Sá to create a space that reflects current trends and design. In addition, the Designer's Studio shows that different materials can be combined in an elegant way. Tarkett flooring, with a greyish wood texture (Ambiente Trend line, Copaíba colour), is combined with noble materials, natural stones, wood, textures, fabrics and leather.

ART DESIGN

Curated by Eduardo Machado, the Studio exhibits works by renowned artists such as BB Schmitt, Beth Neves, Jacques Faing and Jairo Valdati. Also noteworthy is Lorenzo Martone's Martone Cycling bicycle, formerly owned by Mark Jacob. Detailed woodwork pieces by designer Juliana Lussa add design to the project. Brazilian design also appears in pieces by Sergio Rodrigues (Parati Armchair) and Pedro Useche (Arepitas Bench). The 1966 Platner Lounge Chair by designer Warren Platner from Loja Téo, with a bronze side table by Holy Hunt, intensifies the asymmetry in the room.
